<salute>Dear Sir or Madam Director,</salute>
</opener>

<p>My sister, Rosa Stern, has informed me that her daughter, Sylvia
Susi, is currently residing at your chateau.</p>

<p>In accordance with Susi’s parents I would like to have her
brought to the United States where I will take care of her upbringing and
her education.</p>

<p>I would therefore be very grateful if you would do
what is necessary to obtain permission for her voyage here
with one of the transports operated by French or American
organizations.</p>

<p>I hope that a quick departure is possible and I
thank you in advance for every effort you would be able
to exert in this matter.</p>

<p>With kind regards, yours faithfully,</p>
