Youth Aliyah Emergency Campaign for Housing
Mrs. J. Harry Kulakofsky discussed the emergency needs for housing of Youth
Aliyah children, arriving in Israel, and indicated that this supplementary national
effort was approved by the proper Jewish Agency authorities. She requested permission for the Omaha Hadassah to make a special appeal only to those who have not as
yet contributed in the 1949 Philanthropies Campaign, with the understanding that
whatever money was raised in this manner would be earmarked for this special purpose.
After some discussion, the Board authorised this special solicitation.
