I understand from the Trading with the Enemy Branch (Treasury and Board of Trade), that permission has been granted to arrange through us for the payment in France of 2000- francs to Rosa Stern.

Will you please, therefore, complete the attached form and return it to me together with your remittance for £ 11.11.6[?] which includes 7-[?] towards administration expenses.

As soon as your remittance is received together with the form duly signed, I will take steps to effect the transfer. Cheques should be made payable to FRIENDS SERVICE COUNCIL and all communications addressed to me personally to avoid delay. If you prefer to make a personal call it is essential to telephone or write for an appointment.

Please be assured that you will be notified when the francs have reached the beneficiary, and you are requested to refrain from making enquiries in this connection.
