Mr. Grossman Hias 425 Lafayette Street New York, N. Y.
Re: STERN, Beate Sylvia Suse
Dear Mr. Grossman:

Mrs. Albert Schmidt has asked that I forward to you the enclosed affidavit papers, in connection with the visa application for her nieces in France.

As you may know, our office is handling matters pertaining to the group of refugee immmigrants to which Mrs. Schmidt and her family belong. If we can be of help in the U.S. immigration or transportation of these two children, please advise us.

Sincerely yours, [?] Ilse Windmueller

P.S. As we have just been advised, a cable was received from OSE in France, according to which the children are scheduled to go to England. It is hoped that your corresspondent in Paris can explain to OSE that the children's aunt, formerly in England, now resides in the United States, and that their immediate imigration to this country is desirable.
