Le 22 mars 1945 Madame,

J’ai bien reçu les deux colies de tante Flora tous cela ma fait beaucoup plaisir. Mes surtout le chocolat et delicieux. Je suis aussi contente pour le fil et les aiguilles, les sardines et le reste je garderais pour le voyage.

Nous espérons bientôt rejoindre notre tante et notre oncle a Londres. Ensuite je vais ecrire a tante Flora pour la remercier des colies.

March 22, 1945 Dear Madam,

I received the two parcels from my Aunt Flora, and everything in them is such a treat. Above all, the chocolate is so delicious. I am also delighted with the thread and needles. The sardines and the rest I will keep for my coming voyage.

We hope to soon go join our aunt and uncle in London. Now I’m going to write to Aunt Flora to thank her for the parcels.
