Honorable Kenneth S. Wherry
United States Senate
Washington 25, D. C.
Dear Sir:
Thank you very much for your letter of January 8, 1949 regarding my relatives Mr. and Mrs. Elisha Modenstein. I have received a letter from my relatives stating that he still has not been notified that I have completed the assurances necessary for him to come to the United States under the Displaced Persons Act. I will appreciate it if you will check into the matter and see if there was an error in placing my name on the board ln place of Mr. Modenstein, and if it was corrected.
I want to assure you of my heartfelt appreciation for all of your assistance rendered in the past, and for your kind conslderation at this time. I remain,
Sincerely yours,
