having applied to the Commissioner of Immigration and Naturalization for a certificate of citizenship pursuant to Section 321 a of head of June 29, 1906, as amended and having proved to the satisfaction of the commissioner that (s)he was naturalized by the District Court of Pottawattamie County, at Council Bluffs, Iowa, on September 22, 1917.

Now Therefore, in pursuance of the authority contained in Section 321 a of the act of June 29, 1906, as amended this certificate of citizenship is issued this 8th day of April in the year of our Lord nineteen hundred and forty and of our Independence the one hundred and sixth-fourth and the seal of the Department of Labor afford pursuant to statute.
