Dear mom, pop, & all:

I guess maybe I had better write to you while I have a little spare time. I am okay and feeling fine. How are all of you getting along? Fine I hope. I got a nice letter from Nada Bryer[?] day before yesterday and she was telling me about Wayne[?] You know what you said Wayne's[?] greatest sight was. Well I will have to agree with him as it really is a beautiful sight. You can take my work for it. There is also a lot of other beautiful sights but will have to wait until I get back home to tell you about them I guess.

I got Max's type-written letter and it was swell. You can read them so good that way. Have him write more often. Well mom I can't think of a thing to say so will close hoping to hear from you just as often as I have been.

Love & kisses Melvin
