Letter from Beate Stern to Albert and Flora Schmidt and Bertha Gottlieb, September 30, 1946

  Dear Oncle and Aunties,

I thank you very much for the parcel it was realy a very nice one. The cacao was marvellous and I drunk 3 cups full of cacao. Suzy was very pleased with the frock it was ever such a sweet little thing. How are you? I hope that you are well. We had a lovely Rosh Hashana. I which you will have a nice and good [?]. We have got many raisins in our glass house, and they are very nice. Bouby is a fine boy. Today he went out with me and my friend to Stamford Hill, and when we came back home he was fast asleep. Mr and Mrs Natan are ever so mean to uncle first they did want to work with uncle and now they d’ont want him any more and they made even so

 

much trouble just for nothing

Well now I better finish my letter because bed-time has come. I am thanking you again for your nice parcel
