Letter to Jeanette, February 10, 1941

  Dear Jeanette:

The enclosed letter from my sister speaks for itself, and I will hope she will receive the second amount of money, ($45.00) which I sent her.

You well know how relieved I feel, now that I have heard from her again. Am also enclosing a reply to my letter from the American Express Company. I feel sure that you are taking care of the food and package, and again my grateful thanks for your kind personal interest.

Will you please return my sister’s letter promptly to me? Thanks!

With love to you and Julian and hoping to hear from you soon, I am

Fondly, [?]
