Wir waren jetzt 14 Tage ohne Nachricht von Dir, da die gewöhnlichen Briefe immer 4Wochen unterwegs sind. Am 12.11. kam Dein 32 vom 12.10. an. Wenn es Dir möglichist, so schreibe doch immer zwischendurch einen Brief per Clipper. Wir freuen unsimmer, wenn wir hören, dass es Dir gut geht, hoffentlich auch den beiden Damen inDeiner Pension! Lothar schrieb jetzt, dass er von Dir einen Brief bekommen hat, der sokomisch ist, das er nicht daraus klug geworden ist. Du musst ihm deutlich schreiben, wasDu von ihm willst. Der endgültige Schluss mit Frieda hat sich bei Lothar wiedergeändert, Frieda hat ihr „Hawort“ gegeben, dass sie ihn im Frühjahr heiratet. Hoffentlichhat Dich inzwischen Herr Bartenstein aufgesucht. Margot Levi ist immer noch nicht fort,jetzt soll es am 17. des Monats abgehen. Wir spielen jetzt jeden Abend, Muttel, FaruLesser, und ich 66. Muttel hat es gut gelernt, einmal bei uns, dann unten bei Frau L., sovertreiben wir uns die Abende. Wir warten mit jeder Post wieder auf Nachricht von Dir.

Ich freue mich, dass Du nun so schönwohnst und es behaglich und schön hast. Für uns ist das ja unverständlich 11 und 12 UhrLadenschluss, aber das ist noch nicht das Schlimmste.
Wir haben jetzt Telefon und das istdoch sehr angenehm. In diesen Tagen gehen wir einmal zu Tworogers. Am 18.11. sindwir 30 Jahre erheiratet und sind heute noch glücklich und zufrieden miteinander. VonAlfred hoffen wir auch diese Woche auf Brief, der 4 Wochen ging. Das ist dann für L.und uns eine große Freude.

Tante Hanna.We have been without word from you for 14 days now, because regular letters now take 4 weeks to get here on the average. Your letter No. 32, dated 10.12, arrived here on 11.12. If it is possible, please try to write a letter via Clipper every now and then. We are always happy to hear that you are doing well, and hopefully the ladies in your apartmenthouse are doing well too! Lothar wrote that he received a letter from you which is so peculiar that he cannot make out what you mean. You will have to write to him clearly and tell him what you want. Lothar’s final split with Frieda has been revoked; Frieda has told him she would marry him in the spring. I hope that Mr. Bartenstein has visited you in the meanwhile. Margot Levi is still here, now the departure date is set for the 17th of this month. We, Muttel, Frau Lesser and I, play a card game called 66 every night now. Muttel has learned it well. One night we play here and the next at Mrs. Lessers, and that’show the nights pass. Every time the mail comes we hope for news from you.

I’m glad that you live in such a nice and comfortable place now. We cannot imagine having the shop close at 11 pm and 12 am, but that is not the worst that could happen.
We have a telephone now and that is very comfortable. We will visit Tworogers one of these days soon. On 11.18. we will celebrate our 30th wedding anniversary and are still happy together and satisfied with each other. We also hope to get a letter from Walter this week. It’s been about 4 weeks now since he must have sent it. That will be a great pleasure for us and L.
