Sehr erfreut hat uns Dein lieber Brief No.48 und 51, wir haben lange darauf warten müssen, freuen uns nun aber umso mehr zu hören, dass es Dir gut geht und Du gesund bist. Alle Deine Ausführungen interessieren uns sehr, wir sehen Dich immer im weißen Anzug vor uns, dass Dir die Tätigkeit sehr gefällt ist ja sehr schön. Auch dass Du wieder ein eigenes Zimmer hast, freut uns sehr für Dich, es ist doch angenehmer. Wir sind gesund und geht es uns gut. Wir hoffen doch nun öfter Post von Dir zu haben. Hanna Brauer schrieb uns, dass Ruth Br. auf dem Schiff Leute kennenlernte, die ihr jetzt eine Stelle als Hausdame im Val-Pariso bei sich angeboten haben, die sie auch angenommen hat. Horst und Annus haben noch nichts. Georg Br. will die Mutter und Margot und Günther nun auch bald kommen lassen. Onkel Lothar bin ich sehr dankbar für seine Freundlichkeit.
Alles, alles Gute, mein lieber Bub, bleib gesund und sei innigst gegrüßt und geküsstvon Deiner, Dir guten Mutter.
Da mein Finger noch nicht ganz in Ordnung ist, kann ich Dir noch nicht schreiben.

Your detailed reports are very interesting. We keep imagining you in your white outfit. We are happy to hear that you like your job. I am also glad that you have your own room again. After all, it’s much more comfortable that way. We are healthy and are doing well. We hope to receive mail from you more regularly now. Hanna Brauer wrote that Ruth Br. met some people on the boat who offered her a job with them as a maid in the Val-Pariso. She accepted. Horst and Annus still haven’t found anything. Georg Br. wants to have his mother and Margot and Günther come and join him soon. I thank Uncle Lothar for his congeniality.
