In dieser Woche sind wir beide bis jetzt ohne Post von Dir, doch kommen manchmal auch zwei Stück zusammen, also hoffen wir das Beste. Wir sind alle gesund und geht es uns gut. Goldy und Dir geht es hoffentlich auch gut und genießt ihr jetzt das schöne Wetter und macht Euch schöne Zeiten. Alfred schrieb uns, Suse kocht und backt wie eine Alte, ihre Leistungen sind fabelhaft, was sagst Du nun? Onkel Lothar jammert, dass er einsam sei, Frieda ist gut zu ihm, da kann man nichts machen. Nächste Woche besucht uns Vatels Cousin Hanni, sie ist doch glücklich einmal nach hier kommen zu können. Schreibst Du öfter an Susel?

Seit Deinem Brief 62, der am 26.5. hier war, haben wir keine Nachricht von Dir und warten natürlich jeden Tag auf einen Brief. Es ist bei uns alles beim alten. Wir sind gesund und leben wie immer. Ich bitte Dich unsere Briefe zu sammeln und sie dann gelegentlich Suse lesen zu lassen. Onkel Adolf lernt jetzt Plakate zu schreiben und macht ganz gute Fortschritte. Plocki ist immer noch hier und hat durch seine Krankheit sehr große Schwierigkeiten. Hoffentlich bringt uns die nächste Post etwas von Dir.

Sometimes two letters arrive on the same day, so we’re hoping for the best. We are healthy and doing well. Goldy and you are hopefully doing well too. Enjoy the nice weather and your time together! Alfred wrote that Suse can cook and bake like an old woman, her achievements are incredible. What do you say to that? Uncle Lothar moans about being lonely, but Frieda is good to him, so there’s nothing that can be done. Next week, Vatel’s cousin Hanni will come for a visit. She is happy to be able to make it over here once more. Do you write to Susel often?

Since receiving your letter No. 62 on 5.26, we haven’t received anything from you. Of course, we wait every day for mail from you. Everything is the same here. We are healthy and live as we always have. Please collect our letters and show them to Suse one of these days. Uncle Adolf is learning how to write posters now and is getting good at it. Plocki is still here and has difficulties because of his illness. I hope that the next time there will be mail from you.
