Endlich kamen gestern 2 Briefe von Dir und wir sind sehr glücklich Dich gesund zu wissen. Muttel schmeckt wieder das Essen (Muttelchen iss). Wir erhielten 86 vom 26.10. und 88 vom 10.11. (erst am 14. zur Post gegeben). Anscheinend werden jetzt die Briefe auch in USA zensiert und daher die Verzögerung. Da 87 noch fehlt, weiß ich nicht um was sich die Aussprache mit Goldy dreht. Wenn sie aber Dich nicht als voll ansieht, so überlege es Dir gründlich, ich wünsche Dir keine unglückliche Ehe. Dass Dein Boss drei Töchter hat, ist ja sehr nett. Vielleicht verliebt sich eine in Dich. Über die Fahrt mit Deinem Boss nach Kansas werde ich sicher im Brief 87 hören, der hoffentlich auch kommen wird. Ich sandte als Frankatur Marke von der Briefmarkenausstellung, Führer Geburtstagsmarke, Winterhilfe 40, 25, 15, 10, 8, 6, 5, 4, 3. Braune Band und Farley sind alle fehlerfrei angekommen, wenn nicht schicke ich Dir Ersatz. Wegen des Kristall und Porzellan werde ich mich sofort erkundigen. Ich habe mich wegen Deinen Sachen schon informiert, voraussichtlich wird es gehen, die Fracht bis Lisabon kann hier gezahlt werden, von dort zu Dir musst Du zahlen, ca. 45-50 Dollar. Gib mir sofort Bescheid, ob Du dies kannst.

Wie sehr Deine Briefe mich diesmal erfreut haben, kann ich Dir gar nicht beschreiben. Unsere Lehrerin ist zwar nicht american, aber sie hat erstaunlich gute Kenntnisse of American customs, manners, and pronunciation and I am learning fluently conversation.

Yesterday, 2 of your letters finally arrived, and we are happy to hear you’re healthy. Now little Muttel can eat again (eat little Muttel eat). We received No. 86, dated 10.26., and No. 88, dated 11.10. (mailed on the 14th). Apparently letters are now censored in the US as well and that’s what causes the delay. Since No. 87 is still missing, I don’t know what is going on with Goldy. If she doesn’t acknowledge you as a full partner, however, then think it through thoroughly. I don’t want to see you in an unhappy marriage with her. How nice that your boss has three daughters. Maybe one will fall in love with you. I will probably hear about your drive with your boss in letter No. 87, which will surely arrive soon. I sent postage stamps from the stamp show, Fuehrer Birthday Stamp, Winter Aid 40, 25, 15, 10, 8, 6, 5, 4, 3. Brown Band and Farley all arrived without any problem. If not, I’ll send replacements soon. I already tried to get information concerning your things. It will probably work out. I can’t tell you how much your letters delighted us. I’m so glad to know that you’re healthy. We sent this letter in between regular mailings because we wanted to show you how much it means to us.
